His experience spans PHP platforms, APIs, React and Next.js applications, MySQL, MariaDB and PostgreSQL databases, Docker containers, AWS infrastructure, integrations, asynchronous workers, and the incremental modernization of business-critical systems.

Architecture principles

  • Understand the business context before proposing an architecture.
  • Prefer incremental modernization over a full rewrite.
  • Use microservices only when there is a concrete justification.
  • Treat observability as part of the architecture, not an add-on.
  • Document trade-offs, not just decisions.
  • Automate deployment so releases become predictable.
  • Protect critical data by default.
  • Keep responsibility for AI-generated code with humans.
  • Favor maintainability over novelty.

Production mindset

A good system is one that keeps working after the deploy. Observability, a planned rollback, and isolated failure are not extras. They are part of the architecture. I would rather find a problem through a metric than through a customer complaint.

Technical leadership

I act as technical reference for backend and integrations: reviewing code and architectural decisions, mentoring, and supporting delivery calls. I document trade-offs so the next person understands not only what was decided, but what was rejected and why.
